Every day we face new challenges in life, but sometimes difficulties make us confused, sad, hopeless, disappointment, and grief. Trials, tribulations, and challenges are part of every one’s life.
Allah ‘az wa jal says in Al-Qur’an that people created in kabad (always in confuse situation/restless).
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي كَبَدٍ
(Quran Surah:90 verse 4): la- qad khalaqnaa al- ‘insaan fii kabad
“Verily, We have created man into [a life of] pain, toil and trial”
Usually, when we get things which is exciting from worldly pleasures (our desire in the world) then we will be happy , joy and excited, we shall be happy if our will can be fulfilled. Instead of when we don’t get what we want then we are sad and disappointed even despair.
Allah ‘az wa jal says in Al-Qur’an:
“Be sure we shall test thee give, with little fear, hunger, lack of wealth, lives and fruits. And give glad tidings to those who wait. (It is) a person who when calamity (disaster) happens to him, they said (with a heart that believes). Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we all return. “(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:155 – 156)
Various problems, exams, challenges, accident or anything else that makes us uncomfortable is the manifestation of love of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala to us.
Actually, case of the believer is all good. This is explained by the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam:
It’s amazing the believer’s case. Indeed all of his case is good and this is not owned by anyone except the believer. If he was given the pleasure / fun, so be thankful as good for him. Conversely, if a misfortune befalls him (something unpleasant), he is patient, then this is good for him. “(Hadith Narrated by Muslim )
So, Instead of asking Allah, ‘Why, Allah? Why? It is better for us to pray and ask the solution from the situation. Allah has provided us a very powerful tool – and that is the tool of du’a or asking Allah for help and his mercy when we need it. Allah says: “Ud’unii astajib lakum.” It means ” Ask ME, surely I will grant your every wish.”
Allah is close, closer than our neck veins.
Allah knows, more out of our heart motion.
Allah is the Creator, is more sophisticated than creativity.
Allah is Hearing, more sensitive than a whisper of your heart.
O Muslimah.. do you know what the thing which really make me feel calm and peaceful in all situation Insha Allah?. I read Surah Al-Syarh/Al-Inshirah (Quran Surah:94-verse :1-8) every time I feel uncomfortable.
Because I belief, Allah is the one who can make me go on and continue to survive in his world and I believe that Allah will always hug me, help me, lead me to the right path and His malaika ( angels ) will always look after me tightly. Not just to make sure that I will always be fine, but also to ensure that I will always get the best of his side Insha Allah.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
(1) أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
(2) وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
(3) الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ
(4) وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ
(5) فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
(6) إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
(7) فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ
(8) وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ
Bismillahirrahmanirrahiim
1. Alam nasyrah laka shadrak (. Have We not made for you vacate your chest?)
2. Wawadha’naa’anka wizrak ( And we have eliminated the burden than you?)
3. ‘Alladzii anqadha zhahrak ( Which has been so damning your back?)
4. Warafa’naa laka dzikrak ( And we raise up for you called your name?)
5. Fa inna ma’al’usri yusraa ( So really, after every hardship there is relief)
6.Inna ma’al’usri yusraa (Verily after every hardship there is relief)
7. Fa idzaa faraghta fanshab ( And when you have finished (working on a business), then proceed with work on other matters)
8. Wa-ilaa rabbika farghab ( And unto Allah is should you wish)
Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.
O Allah.. Empty our hearts from self-love and fill them instead with love for you.
O Allah.. You, Yourself, have promised that there is ease with any hardship. Relieve the present Muslims from the great difficulties and hardships originated from their enemies.
O Allah.. Your gifts and bounties endowed to us are abundant. Bestow on us the success of being grateful for them.
